Hi,
We would like to use 3 LEDs to displaying SOC instead of 6 LEDs (as in the data sheet).
Can you advise the physical 3 LEDs connection to the BQ40Z80 and the relevant setting to display SOC when button is pressed?
Thanks!

Hello Kim,
I would recommend reviewing the EVM LED configuration, if you need only 3 LEDs, do not populate the LEDs that you do not want the SOC displayed.

Hi Wyatt,
Can i say i need to install D8(LED1), D7(LED2) and D12(LED3) for 3 LEDs?
thanks,
Kim
Hello Kim,
It depends on what LEDs you want to light up depending on the SOC.
The configuration you show will show 0-50% SOC.
If you want to display the full spectrum you would need to select different LEDs:
Like D7, D11 and D10 for example.
You can also keep your configuration and change the Chg Thresh 1,2,3 values to match your application.
Sincerely,
Wyatt Keller
