i want to use BQ24075 battery management ic in my design

i want to clear one thing that if i am connecting 4.5 volt input supply to BQ24074 vin pin will i get 4.5 volt at output

my design requirement is to have 4.5 volts at output and i want to input 4.5 volt to the ic

is BQ24075 perfect for this design

please help

The bq2407x series has different regulated output voltages, see data sheet.

If the input voltage is low enough so the OUT pin is out of regulation (too low), then the input FET will fully turn on and the OUT pin will be the input voltage minus any IR drop across the input FET.

i want to ask , that if i input 4.0 volt to the charger will it be able to charge the battery with 4.0 or 3.0 volts or not
