TPS65313-Q1: how to decrease power consumption of itself

It is very difficult to say what is happening in your system. May be there is still some loads connected to some regulators or there is some other path in your PCB on 14V input voltage. So, please check again. On our EVM, we measure around 40-50mA input supply current with ~12V input supply.

If you still have issues, check whether all the switch / PH signals are switching correctly with ~ 2.2 MHz switching frequency.

I use its own VBOOST to power EXTSUP. How about your EVM connection? same?

How do you evaluate this number?(87mA)... still in a reasonable range? or there should be something wrong?

Also check whether EXTSUP pin is connected to BOOST output. If not, input supply current can be little higher.

Yes. 47mA Input supply current specification provided in the datasheet is with EXTSUP connected to VBOOST. 87mA no load current is bit on higher side and not expected. Have you checked another board, just to make sure that this device/board is not damaged or something?

Hi Murthy,

It seems this high current caused by the resistor connected on PH3. After I remove this resistor, the current dropped to the 44mA, which match with your measurement. 

I checked the EVM reference, this resistor is also N.C.
