TPS628501-Q1: Configuring as inverting

Hi Mitchell,

TPS628501-Q1 is not design to support negative voltage. can you suggest the operating input voltage and end application for the device?

VIn= 4.5V

Vout = -1V @ 300 mA

Automotive LIDAR

Downloaded the TPS628501-Q1 model.

Ran a transient 10ms simulation however the VOUT(output) remained at 0V instead of  reaching 1.8V per the application note description. 

VIn transitioned 0-5V after 10us delay as expected.

Not sure why the TPS628501 is not turning on in simulation.

Been able to simulate other devices successfully with the PSPICE tool.

Simulation is working okay with given condition. can you check the simulation profile? if all parameters set correctly or not. 

I am attaching the model bench and simulation results. Simulation is run for 2ms time frame.

Thanks for the response Tanvee.

I setup the simulation profile to run for 10 ms in transient response simulation.

I didn't set initial conditions on the capacitors however. 

I was able to download some transient simulation models of other buck converters and they appeared to work fine.

Not sure what I am doing wrong.
