Can the BQ24125 charge IC use in NiMH battery 2cell in series?

Our requirement are shown as blow.

Input voltage is 12V

Battery : NiMH 2 cell in series

Dear Allen,

As long as your total charge voltage is greater than 2.1 V, this part will work. The input voltage goes up to 16.0 V. I would encourage you to look at the following application note on how to charge NiMH batteries:
