TLC5958: TLC5958 asynchronous and App Note

Hello,

we are looking for RGB LED matrix solution (64x16 RGB LEDs) to drive a led panel asynchronous to the data bus.

I found the TLC6983 but unfortunately this is common cathode and most LEDs on the market are common anode.

 

So now I found the TLC5958, but I am confused if it is possible to use it asynchronous. The Data line is only about  100 kb/s to update the SRAM.

But the display framerate should be at least 200 Hz.

 

I would like to ask for the Application Note: “Build High Density, High Refresh Rate, Multiplexing LED Panel with TLC5958.”

 

Or can you recommend another device for that purpose?
