BQ76200: Testing BQ76200

I've got a BMS design that uses the BQ76200 high sider driver. However, stock everywhere is zero, unless I go to an outside source from overseas, which is not really approved by most companies. If I were to purchase the chips from one of these sources, does TI have a test procedure or a method I could employ to make sure the chip is authentic?

We do not have a way to determine if these units are authentic. To ensure you are getting an authentic chip, please order from ti.com or one of our authorized distributors. You can select to be notified when the ti.com store restocks.

Thank you. Ordering on a long lead item right now, doesn't help me if my PCB needs to be fully functional in less than a month. Thanks anyway!
