UCC27201: UCC27201

Part Number: UCC27201

Hello,

We are using UCC27201 in one of our application, HO pin of  UCC27201 remains high always when LI is driven with high Signal also.

Attached the schematic below

PWMOUT1 is always high going to MOSFET, how to make it low when LI is high.

Regards,

Dheeraj

  • Hi Dheeraj,

Thank you for your question. In normal mode, the HO pin output signal is controlled by the HI pin input signal. Therefore, if you want to drive HO low, you will need to pull HI low. Please refer to table 1 "Device Logic Table" in the device datasheet:

  • Hello Leslie,

We have tried above cases, In all the cases HO we are getting voltage nearly 4.2V.

    kindly help us to resolve.

    Regards,

    Dheeraj

  • Hi Dheeraj,

Does HO stay high all the time at 4.2V? Have you tried testing a different driver and also a different board to determine if this issue is specific to the device/board you are testing?

What do you have connected on the other side of HO, LO and HS? Can you please share a full schematic?

Please also capture the HB-HS, HO-HS, LO-GND and HS-GND signals preferably on the same plot measuring with tip and barrel method as close as possible to the driver's pins to see what you are observing.

    Best regards,

    Leslie
