Good Day. I have a customer who is seeking a DC-DC Converter for his design. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much.

I am designing a DC DC Converter with input range of 800V to 1500V for output of 110V, 3A.

I have selected two switch forward topology and uc2844.

I am writing this inquiry if you could provide some reference design for the similar input and output ranges.

It would be great help if you could share formula for calculating surrounding components to UC2844 when using 2-switch forward topology.

Good Day. Can you share "Critical primary Inductance boundary value for forward converter" as given for flyback in UC2844 datasheet. Thank you very much.

In U2844 datasheet, there is a detailed procedure to design a flyback converter. You can use the the formula to calculate the primary inductance.
