We have created a BMS based on the BQ78350-R2 and BQ76920 Chips.

Now in certification process the certifying company is asking for:

FMEA

UL 60730-1

do you have paperwork for these chips that show Failure Analysis test data and anything that is related to passing UL 60730-1 Class B certs...

We do not have FMEA documentation for the BQ76920.

We provide a BQ769x0 Pin Equivalent Diagrams document that may be helpful if you consider to do analysis.

We are going to pay the certification Company to do the Failure analysis for us.

Luis, how does the Pin equivalent Doc help? can you please help explain.

Also do you have other AFE's that are FMEA compliant... we use LTO chem, so it needs to support 1.5 to 2.7V cell voltage

I check your BQ7718 for example, it has Safety Reports, but its meant for LFP chemistry.

Hello Shahram,

The pin equivalent diagram shows an equivalent diagram of how pins are connected internally. It may help to see how they would behave under different conditions, it may be useful to analyze pin behavior.

I believe our automotive-rated parts do provide FMEA documents. But these are handled by a different team.
