Hi,

Do you always recommend to put the battery for learning phase at least once, to get the accurate SOC, SOH values?

Hello Chandrakala,

I would recommend doing a learning phase to make sure your system is working correctly, but it would not be a requirement for all the batteries to do this, since it should be updated over time in the field whenever there is a qualified discharge.

For what types of battery you suggest the learning phase?

Hello Chandrakala,

It does not matter what chemistry or type the battery is, after running the GPCCEDV tool you should not need to do a "learning" cycle on the battery, it will update over time in the field.

You would need to use a temperature chamber and a electronic load.
