LMR38020: synchronization of several components

Part Number: LMR38020

Hi,

I want to use the LMR38020 to make several power supplies on a board and I would like to synchronize them all and set them to 300Khz. Is it possible to use the same synchronization signal coming from a microcontroller (F28388DZWTS) to make it, if yes do you have a schematic to propose me?

If I make the diagram below I imagine that I disturb the adjustment of the frequency because the 2 resistors of 88k7 (300khz) are in parallel!
Should I put only one resistor Rt which will be shared by each component or should I have only one synchronization signal per component?

Best regards

  • Hi,

The pin becomes a synchronization input, internal amplifier is disabled, so the resistor will not set the frequency,  If clocking edges stop, the internal amplifier is re-enabled and the operating mode returns to frequency programming by resistor. Also please refer to Figure 8-4 in datasheet on how to connect external clock.
