BQ40Z50-R1: R_a0 and R_a0x in RA Table

Part Number: BQ40Z50-R1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: GPCRB

Hi team,

The customer has the following 2 questions:

1. Is there any difference between R_a0 and R_a0x about their function in the RA Table?

2. If the battery pack needs to be discharged at -40°C, is it still necessary to complete the discharge learning at -40°C for the battery pack with update status 0e?

Could you help  check this case? Thanks.

Best Regards,

Cherry

  • Hello Cherry,

The two tables are used so we do not wear out the data flash as quickly since the Ra values get updated very often.

The learning cycle should be at room temperature, if they need to do low temperature adjustments they should use the GPCRB tool.

    Sincerely,

    Wyatt Keller
