LM27403: LM27403 layout question on Rset

Hi, 

As the LM27403 circuit, current-sense differential pair should be routing as the same.

 

But at TI reference PCB design, Rset is put close to LM27403, not close to inductor as Rcs.

 

Can you double check it and give your feedback?

    Hey Christina,

    The layout is correct. Since the value of RSET (called RISET on the datasheet) is used to configure the current limit setpoint, it needs to be as close as the controller as possible to limit the amount of added resistance from the PCB trace.
