Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65218, AM4376, LP8758
Hello,
I am trying to use a TPS659109A1RSL to power an AM4376 w/ DDR3 because supply issues are preventing me from getting any TPS65218 devices for the next year+.
I'd like to change some of the output voltages so they are correct during initial startup. I have an eval board and was able to write to the registers but the changes do not persist through power cycle / reset.
Due to this, I am attempting to write to the registers at startup prior to the outputs turning on. If I disable the output by pulling PWRHOLD low, I can no longer access the I2C bus and therefore cannot set the registers.
Is there a way to write to the EEPROM registers prior to the start up sequence so the voltage rails come up at the desired voltages rather than the defaults?
The BOOT pins are set at: BOOT0 = 0, BOOT1 = 1 (for EEPROM operation)
Thank you.
