UCC27611: Can I drive the UCC27611 GaN Gate Driver inputs (IN+ to GND with IN- tied to GND) from a UC1843 PWM Controller whose VDD is 12 volts and whose output swing from 0 volts to 12 volts

Hi,

Can I drive the UCC27611 GaN Gate Driver's IN+ pin with a 12 volt output from a UC1843 PWM controller?  I would connect the UCC27611 IN- pin to GND when doing this.

The UCC27611 mentions that the its IN+,IN- low and high input thresholds are 1.1 volts and 2.05 volts, respectively. The data sheet also mentions that the absolute maximum voltage on those pins is 18 volts.
