UCC256403: Simplis Simulation

Hello,

I am trying to simulate a LLC converter using UCC256403 in SIMPLIS, in the transient model it states HV pin, VCC pin, BLK pin, BW pin, RVCC pin, HB pin, and HS pin are not emulated in this model. Does that mean those pin are not available in the model to simulate or that the transient simulation was constructed without using those pins? I am trying to build a circuit with 12V input with 6V and 4A output. So far using the design calculator, I haven't been able to successfully simulate the model.

    Hi Jassimran,

    First of all, for such a low a power rating, I would recommend using flyback converter. 

    The LLC simplis simulation that we provided is to validate the LLC power stage gain at all load and input voltage levels and to validate the control circuitry. If we include all other features of the real controller, it will slowdown the converter simulation. That's the reason most of the features of the controller are not modelled in the provided simulation. 

    So, I would recommend modifying the existing simulation values according to your requirements without accessing unused pins.
