LM5145: Shunt Resistor Current Sensing

Use LM5145 Shunt Resistor Current Sensing
Do I need CILIM? (time constant RILIM · CILIM is approximately 6 ns.)

As shown below

  • No, it's not needed for shunt current sensing. That cap is intended to filter out any negative voltage excursions on the ILIM pin due to SW going transiently negative. There's no issue with the shunt as there is no large AC voltage on that node.
