TPS25947: Datasheet clarification

Hello team, 

I have some question about the values in the datasheet:

1) If I have understood properly this number shall be 2 and not 3

2) How can theese 2 timings be the same? 2xIlim can be 2 amps, IFT is 22 amps.

3)do you have a graph of this timings for  I lim<I out<1.2I lim?

    Hi Alberto,

    Please see my response,

    1. IOUT>3*ILIM is just  a test condition. In a application it is  a possible that IOUT goes above 3*ILIM. So here we mention response time in such case. Since a comparator is used to detect if current is greater than 2*ILIM, higher (IOUT-2*ILIM) higher is overdrive of comparator and faster is response. 

    2. These two timing can be same as different comparator is used. You can think of them as cases when device will response fastest to overcurrent. 

    3. Did not understand requirement.

    Hi Alberto,

    1. Sorry we don't characterize that value. 

    2. Device starts timer when it detects overcurrent. after timer it turns off within 2us(typical). This is the only value we can provide.
