Hello,

I wanted to convert UCD3138PSFBEVM currently used for 360W to 2.5kW. For that I am using Fusion Digital power studio for firmware changes. Currently I am doing loop compensation. Kindly let me know the desired values of crossover frequency, Phase Margin and Gain margin for voltage loop and current loop compensation. Also kindly let me know if there is any document available regarding the same (PSFB using UCD3138) or which will be helpful during the whole process of conversion.

Hello,

I have been through this document before and found it very helpful, But currently I need the ideal values of crossover frequency, Phase Margin and Gain margin for voltage loop and current loop compensation in Fusion Digital Power studio. Also if you could provide any document available for the tuning of PSFB like we have for PFC.

Hello,

There is no current loop for PSFB EVM. It is peak current mode control, and voltage loop only.

Normally, you can get 3-4kHz crossover frequency, 60 degree phase margin, and 10db gain margin. there is no specific document for tuning PSFB loop, but I think you can use the same method as PFC.
