We need technical advice on whether the 63806 can drop in to replace the 63805 in our design. I see that we recommend 2x47uF output capacitance for the 63806, but only 1x22uF for the 63805. We don’t have room for any more than 1x22uF in our current design so using 2x47uF as recommended would not be possible.
Can you explain why there is a design differences between the 63805 and 63806?
Would the 63806 be a true drop in replacement for the 63805? Or would it require more than the 1x22uF cap?
