Hi Expert,

There is a function on source current for open wire test, applies to all VC and CB.

Will it a function for over current/ short circuit detection during cell balancing and cut off the cell balancing function(FET) ?

Hi Neo,

We don't recommend running the open-wire diagnostic while cell balancing is running. There is no circuit to pause cell balancing while the diagnostic is running so the diagnostic would see the CB current and affect the results.
