TLC5929: clock phase question

Hi Team,

My customer is trying use SPI host control TLC5929. Could you please help to comment below questions? Thanks.

1. How do we set the Clock Phase (CPHA)?

2. Should we write the control data MSB first or LSB first?

    Hi Hardy Xue,

    1. The idle level of SCLK is 0 and the rising edge samples data. So CPOL is 0 while CPHA is 0.

    2. The MSB need to be written firstly.

    As we discussed before, it is TLC59291 that customer is using right? TLC5929 requires 17 bits data and is hard to use standard SPI protocol to drive.
