TLV767: input current at startup

Hi Expert, 

My customer have input current issue during startup. (device switching by inrush current)

Could you please let me know the reason of this behavior?

(the rIght side of waveform don't reach the current limit.)

Ch1 : input current, 0.5A/div

Ch2 : Output voltage, 1V/div

for 3.3V output (TLV76733)

For 1.8V output (TLV76718)

    Hi Muk,

    Could they provide me with scope shot including Vin, it's possible the later switching is occurring due to thermal shutdown, but the first couple spikes and turn off behavior is odd.

    Additionally, they are not playing with enable in any way? It is held high for the entire turn on period?

    Finally, what is their output capacitance? It is curious that the output does not drop when the current drops to 0A in the 1.8V plot like it does for the 3.3Vout version.
