BQ78350-R1: CycleCount() does not increment after a full discharge

Hello Aymen,

Can you also share a bqStudio log showing the charge and discharge? This will let us confirm if the passed charge is 90% of the design capacity. If the passed charge is greater than 90% * Design Capacity the cycle count should increment with your .gg file settings.

hi, i will try and do that, but in the meantime, i was also wondering, in our implementation of the product, we are unable to write to flash memory because the current required to write to flash memory is larger than the current we're providing to the gauge, so when upgrading the firmware, we inject a current source and update the firmware and then we remove it. Could that be the reason why the cycle count does not increment since it is going to write a value in a flash register?
