TPS22910A: Load Switch Vout never goes to 0V after turned on

Part Number: TPS22910A

Hello,

I have this device on a new design.  Vdd is never removed from the Vin pin. Vin == Vdd == Vbat or 3.3V depending on whether or not the 3.3V boost regulator is enabled.  When the regulator in not enabled VBat == Vdd.  I am seeing that when I enable the TPS22910A device by pulling the Enable pin low , then disable the device some time later Vout never returns back to 0V and there is current flowing through my circuit that I do not expect. In fact it seems that the Vin going into the chip is being halved by a resistive voltage divider because  Vout == Vin * 0.5.  i.e. When Vin == 2.5V Vout = 1.2-1.3V,  When Vin == 3.0V Vout == 1.5V

Cout :Cin == 4.7uF : 0.1uF.

Does this behavior indicate these parts are damaged?  (I have 5 boards behaving the same way).

Thanks

  • I figured out my issue shortly after posting this.  It was due to another chip on the board and was fixed in firmware.  This thread can be closed. Apologies.
