Hi Team , ı want to ask a question about the Tl494’s constant current constant voltage feature.
ı have made a power supply 24V-36V with 15A output current limiting
he Works fine but i could not increase the current limiting range?
As you can see for the voltage adjusting ı’m using positive feed back
but for the current ı’m using negative what do you sugges to increase the current limiting range to 20A

Have you adjusted the resistance of R6 or R45? For example, add the value of R45 or reduce the value of R45.

Here is an example of two control loop. Voltage loop is same to your schematic. However, current limiting loop is different. In your schematic, the reference 2IN+ is set to 0V and the feedback pin is connected to 2IN-. I think EA is used to be a comparator. You don't need to achieve feedback. Reference voltage of 2IN+ can set the current limiting threshold.
