TPS54J061: How to calculate the Ton when use DCAP controller mode

Hi team,

I know our TPS54J061 will maintain a fixed Ton time, under CCM mode; when Vin change, then Toff will change, Fre will change to maintain a stable output.

So how do we calculate the Ton time? What information is needed?

Hi Andy,

Like any other control method (Not only DCAP), at the end Ton = Vo/Vin *(1/fsw).

Even in TPS54J061 (DCAP), Ton is not fixed, and it adapts to try to keep fsw constant

Please refer to Figures 6-15 to 6-17 in datasheet.
