BQ25895: ADC accuracy

hi,

     The ADC resolution of BQ25895 listed in its datasheet page 10 is typical 20mV. my customer wants to know its accuracy or tolerance of ADC, for example, min. and max. values ?

    Hi,

    The information is not available. The chargers are essentially power supplies with complex state machines and analog feedback loops while the gauges are micro-controllers using ADCs and digital logic. The Battery monitoring of the BQ25895 is offered as an extra feature in addition to regular charger. There’s no accuracy spec for the ADC readings. The gauge makes more accurate voltage, current and temperature measurements compared to the charger.
