Hi,
I have a 1s lipo battery i.e. Voltage => 3 to 4.2V. I have to charge it using Power-Path Management IC. So, I selected BQ2407X. I have the following queries about the selection of the exact part number for the battery.
- What is VBAT(REG)? Is it Battery Max voltage? If yes then bq24072 to bq24075 should be my choice?
- What is VOUT(REG)? Is it regulated output voltage at the output pin? If yes then bq24075 should be my choice because I need 5.5V
- What will be the VOUT(REG) at 3V and 4.2V in the case of bq24075?
- If the output will always be constant at 5.5V then I don't need a boost converter to convert OUT voltage to 5V.
