Hi team,

Here's an issue from the customer may need your help:

With all protections turned off, the BQ4050 actively shuts off the output with discharge currents greater than 3.3 A, and does not reach the set overcurrent protection threshold. Could you please help check what's the reason for that?

    Hello Cherry,

    I am not sure what is meant by all protections turned off". The bq4050 offers multiple layers of protection. For this case, i have tried to summarize the relevant TRM sections that should apply. Check the conditions specified in each to figure out the cause.
