Hi Experts,

Good day.

Client would like to use and evaluate BQ34Z100EVM with battery up to 72V (32Ah).

The EVM is configured up to 48V, can you confirm if it's possible to modify the board to higher voltage?

Hello Archie,

bq34z100 is designed for a maximum of 65V. It can be used for higher voltage batteries by using external circuitry to step down the voltage and make it look like a battery of max 65V to the bq34z100.

Thanks, Shirish for this app notes. Confirmed that providing an external resistor would lower the voltage (divider) within the limit.

Also, forgot to mention that client also wants to access the design files (Gerber) of EVM, can we provide it?
