Hi TI team

Happy New Year!

Here are some questions related to the FW of BQ78350-R1. 

(1). We are using BQ78350-R1 which all setting and learning was completed.

       Is there any easy way that we can update FW from R1 to R1A or R2 and keep the same settings?

(2). Is there only FW difference between BQ78350-R1 and BQ78350-R1A? Or there is any other improvement on hardware from R1 to R1A?

(3). If I want to quickly upgrade the FW from R1 to R1A or R2, could you please provide me the "Firmware Updater tool" through EV2400?

    Hello James,

    1. You can export a gg.csv file for all user configurable settings and import into R2. Chemistry data and learned data is not included in this. You can program the appropriate chemistry from the Chemistry tab in bqStudio. The learning cycle will need to be redone.

    2. It is a firmware difference

    3. I do not think the tool is publicly available because of the EV2400 terms of sale.
