Please kindly advise if we can design the TPS552882 to output voltage/ current like 12V/ 16A, and if not, what the maximum current when the voltage is 12VDC, thanks.

Hi Liang,

May I know the input voltage range requirement of your application? The TPS552882 maximum output current capability is related to Vin range.

Thanks for the information.

The TPS552882 maximum output current capability is ~ 6-8A. The main challenge is the device thermal rise so you need to take care of layout and external MOSFETs, inductor selection.

Hi Zack,

The output current 6-8A is not enough for the CPU(the max. power is 90W), so let us promote the LM5176, thanks.
