Part Number: LM5109B

Hi  TI friend

About LM5109B parameter , I have one question

plz help

--what is meaning of delay match ?

see from the pic as below  tMON:  you can see  LO and HO will be high  at some time;

plz

  • Hello,

    Thank you for your question. This short video below that explains what delay matching is:

    https://training.ti.com/know-your-gate-driver-delay-matching

    "Delay matching is where the internal propagation delays between channels are matched. In other words, if the signal is simultaneously applied at the inputs of two channels, the time delay at the outputs of both channels is the delay matching specification".

    In LM5109B datasheet, when LI is set high and HI is set low at the same time, t_MON is the delay between the LO output turning ON and the HO output turning OFF.

    Likewise, when LI is set low and HI is set high at the same time, t_MOFF is the delay between the LO output turning OFF and the HO output turning ON.

    Best regards,

    Leslie
