EV2400: EV2400 MODULE

The charger also tries to communicate on the bus, this causes collisions. Therefore you will see a lot of errors in bqStudio.

When the charger is removed, and the EV2400 unplugged/replugged,, communication with the gauge should resume. If not then there may be unrelated damage to the PC or EV2400.

The EV2400 can't resume when charger remove. PC can restore.

You can try to update the EV2400 firmware and see if the EV2400 responds.

There is a phenomenon, 

My test system are  EV2400 + Gauge(Battery+ BQ40Z50-R2 ) + Charger(BQ24171) .

The EV2400+Gauge(Battery+ BQ40Z50-R2 ) work normally, but the test system will break when connect charger(BQ24171)

What's the reason?

There in interference in communication when the charger is connected. Apart from a few errors, you should be able to still read most of the data in bqStudio.

if I want to learn whether there is over voltage during the charging process, where could I learn this information from the bqStudio ?

If the bqStudio can't connect when battery charging, does the over voltage information be recorded by Gauge or not?

Could you help point which item in picture I can find the safety status ?

And how can I read the safety status from bit status? for example, which bit high or low can represent over voltage case has happened ever?
