TPS23751: Maximum value of Css

Dear Specialists,

My customer is evaluating TPS23751 and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

Regarding CSS of Figure 36 of the datasheet P.37 8.2.2.14,

Could you please let us know the maximum value of  Css.

Is there any effect on other circuits by increasing the capacity of Css?

    Hello Shinichi,

    The maximum recommended value is 10uF. This capacitor is part of the secondary soft start circuit, which helps the output voltage not overshoot during startup. The larger the capacitor, the slower the turn on is.

    I understand the maximun recommended Css is 10uF.

    When the larger capacitance is used, the turn on is slower.

    I'll share this information with the customer.
