BQ76952: The NTC acquisition temperature is not accurate

Part Number: BQ76952

Hi team,

When using the BQ76952, the NTC temperature was not properly captured. But the spec temperature sampling resistor used before was accurate. Now with a temperature sampling resistor, the official tool is used to calculate Coef a1~Coef a5, and the sampling temperature is still inaccurate after Coef b1~Coef b4 is set into BQ.

The temperature sampling resistance specifications and calculation tools are listed below:

1.NTC: muRata  NCP18XH103F03RB

2.

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Best Regards,

Cherry

  • Hello Cherry,

    Can they send the R/T table values so I can calculate the coefficients for them? They also should mention at what temperature will their device operate at, in order to calculate the most accurate coefficients for them.

  • Hi Cherry,

    I generated different coefficients using our internal tool (I am working on releasing an online version of this tool to replace the current tool in the future). Ask them to try these coefficients to see if the results improve.

    [A1,A2,A3,A4,A5] = [-16652  31595 -27396  26324   1342]

    [B1,B2,B3,B4] = [-1903  3635 -4140  4734]

    ADC0 = 11703

    Best regards,

    Matt
