TPS2492: nPG deglitsch delay depends on load?

Part Number: TPS2492

Hello,

I'm using TPS2492EVM-003 and I was measuring nPG delay in case of disabling the output through UVEN.

The datasheets was not very straightforward in this regard, it only explainis a deglitch delay of 9ms in case of over current. I could measure it also exhibits the deglitch delay in case of undervoltage.

My question:

How can the following observation be explained?:

  • with a load (regardles if it's 10A, 1A or 1mA), nPG deasserting is delayed with about 9 to 10ms -> this is ok.
  • without a load (i.e. a load on VOUT of  TPS2492EVM-003), the delay for nPG deasserting is 40ms to 50ms (it is variable). Why is this?

Kind regards.
