BQ76952: Thermal effect of balancing cell numbers

Hello TI Team,

We have the external cell input resistor as 20 Ohm in our application, attention should be pay on the maximum number of balancing cells due to thermal concern, how we can check this  by monitor the BQ76952 case temperature (check point), what the temperature limit will be?

    Hello Sam,

    The operating temperature of the device is -40C to 85C. This is TOPR in the datasheet. That would be the limit before the device cannot work properly.

    Make sure to also check the threshold of the temperature protection settings in the device.
