When the device starts charging, it goes to the next STEP,

Only discharge function can be executed

equipment used : MACCOR

Battery Specifications : 3S1P ( 4.4V 3900mAh)

use the power supply, you can see the charging current.

Please check if it is a setting problem????

Hello Kim,

If you are just cycling the battery you don't need to have protections enabled. I would disable the FETs for battery testing if you're using a MACCOR.

If you need the protections enabled, you should set them so the gauge doesn't disable the pack during your tests. IF you could send a bqStudio log of the test that would be helpful. Some protection is most likely disabling the FETs.

When the item is disabled and charged

Charges for about 5 minutes, then stops charging due to equipment problem...

Hello Kim,

I'm not sure I understand your test. Is the MACCOR or gauge disabling the charge? As I mentioned you will need to disable the protections or change the protection thresholds so they aren't triggered during your normal cycling.

If the protection function and protection conditions are blocked, shouldn't the power supply be charged in the same way?

Hello Kim,

I'm not sure how to help further. If it is blocked by the MACCOR you should contact their customer support. I would need to see a bqStudio log from the tests to tell if the charge is being stopped from the gauge. But the solution would be the same, disable the protections while you perform battery testing, or change the thresholds so they aren't triggered while you're testing.
