Hi Team,

As the title mentions, does the programmable current limit & current ratio accuracy depend in any way on whether the device is operating in regulation or in dropout?

    Hi Andy,

    The current limit and current ratio accuracy are not dependent on regulation mode. For example, when the TPS7B770X is used as a switch (i.e. is always in dropout), the programmable current limit still works as normal and the current limit accuracy works as normal (I've verified this on the bench in the past).
