TPS65258: Possible Discrepancy?

Hi team,

Couple questions regarding this datasheet..

The features state the maximum current being 3.5/2.5 A and continuous loading being 3/2 A, but the EVM user guide states the output current range to be 3A for each buck.. Also the peak inductor current limit range in the spec of the device is maxed at 4/3 A.

Also, just double checking that Pgood / the USB enable range are 3.3V enables, not 5V according to the abs max table.

The application has a 1.9A load (the others are 0.6 / 1.7A) so we just want to make sure the load is on the right channel (obviously buck 1 seems to fit the bill), but we were curious about why the ratings seemed to change between documents.

Attached the the EVM user guide they have since I couldn't find it on our website.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    1. Please kindly follow the maximum current which is 3.5A/2.5A/2.5A and continuous loading 3A/2A/2A spec in datasheet.

    2. Please check the Pgood/ USB enable abs max table from datasheet:

    3. Please provide VIN voltage and output voltage and load of each rails so that we can check whether this application can work well.
