Hi team,
Are there some difference of Electrical characteristics between TPSM82864AA0 and TPSM82864AAH?
Best regards,

Hi Teritama-san,
The H version is planned to be in the taller RDM package and will have improved efficiency compared to the S version in the RDJ package.
Did you have a specific need or concern with these devices?
Thanks,
Chris
Hi Teritama-san,
I don't quite understand your question. Perhaps you can contact me through a conversation to know the specific details of your case?
The RDJ package is fully released and the specifications in the D/S are the final ones. The RDM package is not released and not sampling through ti.com at the present time. I would like to know which device you want to use and when you will need samples and production?
Chris
Hi Chris,
I apologize for the lack of my explanation.
Our customer think s to replace the device from EN6337 to TPSM82864A. So they are considering whether to choice RDJ package or RDM package.
So If there are any difference of electric characteristic between RDJ package and RDM package, they want to know it.
Will there be more details of RDM package in the datasheet after release?
> I would like to know which device you want to use and when you will need samples and production?
⇒We don't know when the customer need sample and production. When we can request RDM packages sample?
If it is better that through a conversation to explain more detail, how do we contact to you?
best regards,
teritama
Thank you for explaining.
We have this FAQ page that recommends crossing EN6337 with TPSM82813/0, because both devices support clock sync. If your customer does not need this feature, TPSM82864A is also a suitable cross. https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/1052567/faq-does-ti-have-crosses-for-obsolete-intel-enpirion-dc-dc-switching-regulators-and-power-modules
The RDJ package is fully released. The RDM package is not sampling yet. I recommend evaluating the RDJ package to see if this fits their needs. Both packages are pin to pin compatible and the mechanical drawings are both at the end of the D/S: https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tpsm82866a.pdf
You should be able to click on either my name in this forum thread or in the chat bubble at the top right of the screen to begin a private conversation. Let me know if these do not work for you.
Thanks,
Chris
Thank you for your reply.
The customer already buy TPSM82864AA0SEVM . Is it OK that we consider the characteristic of TPSM82864AA0SEVM almost same with RDM package characteristic ?
best regards,
teritama
Hi Teritama-san,
Yes, most characteristics of the RDM package will be the same as the RDJ package. The RDM package should also have improved efficiency.
