2A LED current driver with high-side resistor and current reporting

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA180, TPS61165

Hi,

I'm trying to find a 2A current driver (buck, 5v input) that uses a high-side resistor for feedback. The current must be controllable either by analog or SPI means but not PWM.

I also need to report back the current usage to a MCU but am willing to use a INA180 etc across the resistor if needbe.

Finding such chips are few and far between but perhaps I've missed something that could do the job, or could there be another way such as feeding the INA180 as the feedback to compare against reference for a buck?

Regards,

Andrew
