Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO
Hi team,
Here's 3 questions may need your help:
1. some boards connect to BQ78350 with BQSTUDIO, connect with smbus without any reaction, some boards can connect to BQstudio properly, and also burn the firmware of the official website. Bq78350_R1_v1_04_build_26.srec, also properly configured with 4 cells, FET _EN enabled, and voltage output available. After a few days connecting to bqstudio again, smbus mode cannot be connected, why is that?
Is the Please select a target in the Target Selection Wizard in the bqstudio software startup selection related to the version number of the wrong chip selected in this option? (Such as 1E9B_1_03-bq78350_R1.bqz, 1E9B_1_04-bq78350_R1.bqz, 1E9B_2_02-bq78350R2.bqz inside), If this wrong selection will cause the disconnection, then how to reconnect to the bqstudio properly and re-burn the firmware again?
2. Is the change from BQ78350DBTR-R1 to BQ78350DBTR-R1A having an impact on the bqstudio connection?
Also, select the model when bqstudio starts, which one should be chosen? (Such as 1E9B_1_03-bq78350_R1.bqz, 1E9B_1_04-bq78350_R1.bqz, 1E9B_2_02-bq78350R2.bqz)
3. The sumbus address of the BQSTUDIO connection BQ78350 is shown as 0x17, and the address in spec is 0x16 or 0x17. Cannot connect to bqstudio properly, what should they do to configure?
Could you help check this case? Thanks.
Best Regards,
Cherry
