Can BQ24381 VBAT be floated? Or it must be connected to Vss directly or by pull down resistor?
My customer is using 100kohm resistor from VBAT to battery and have to remove the resistor because VBAT voltage is higher than OVP set point. Datasheet recommends connecting to Vss. If so, customer has to bypass BQ24381 without revising the board.
