BQ25792: Device Address

Part Number: BQ25792

Hi expert,

Customer used BQ25792 but failed to read device. Is the address 0x6B correct? Please advise what might be possible causes and how to resolve it.

Hi Allan,

0x6B is the correct 7-bit address and D6 is the 8-bit address.

Hi Jeff,

Actually our problem is that the CPU sends out the address but doesn't receive ACK.

There are two other devices on this I2C bus, and they are responsive.

We want to know why BQ25792 doesn't return ACK.

Hello,

Attached is a Salea log of the I2C.It demonstrates that the ACK occurs for reading and writing. Please check your setup.
