I would recommend reviewing sections 5.4.19 through section 5.4.26 of the TPS65381A-Q1 datasheet. These sections cover the different states within the device.

Could you pls help to check which flag bits are latched and can be read after entering the safe state? Except abist_error and LBIST_ERROR, thanks

Hi Hangjie,

SAFE state does not reinitialize any of the registers within the device. There are two reinitialization sources in this device for the registers, NPOR and post LBIST reinitialization. So going to SAFE state will not clear any bits within the device unless an NPOR event happens or LBIST is run. It is also important to note that most of the flag bits within this device are not latched unless otherwise stated.

After entering the safe state, re-write the test program. Is the read register also saved before?

I am not sure what the test program you are referring to means so I am not sure what they are trying to write to the device. Can you clarify what is meant by "Is the read register also saved before?"
