TLV62569A: Inductor Current in PFM

Hello, customer found an abnormal inductor current that there are continue turnned on with two triangle current at PFM mode. is this normal behavior? What's the current control method between PWM and PFM mode?

Hello Brian,

You are asking this for the device TLV62569A right? TLV62569A does not have any PFM mode. It works in forced PWM mode across the whole load range.

Regarding this double pulses in inductor current, let me look into it. I will get back to you later.

Thanks. What correct part number customer using is TLV62569PDDCR. Please help to double check why double pulses in the inductor current is and what's the control mechanism behind? Very thanks.
